Caitlin Freeman | Client Services at Menier Venues London

Event Coordinator

Caitlin is responsible for supporting clients throughout their event journey, from first enquiry to event day. She is known for her warm, organised approach and commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.

The building is so beautiful, inside and out, and it’s been amazing to see our new tenants loving the spaces.

What does your role involve day to day?

I work across both the Southwark Square and Menier Venues teams. As Event Coordinator, I’m focused on all things client, whether that’s solving queries for our long-term tenants or supporting events in our spaces.

No two days are the same, and I like being able to move quickly between different tasks and jump in wherever I’m needed. The variety keeps things interesting, and you never quite know what the day will bring.

One of my favourite parts of the role is seeing really creative brands come into the spaces and completely transform them, especially around Christmas, when the events feel extra special.

What do you think makes the team at Menier Venues special?

We’re a really hard-working team and very dedicated to getting the job done. Everyone genuinely cares about delivering a good experience, whether that’s for a tenant, an event client or a guest walking through the door.

At the same time, we still manage to have fun while we work. We all get on very well, and I think that shows in the way we support each other and can always share a laugh, even on the busiest days.

What’s been a highlight for you so far?

Definitely the Menier Project. The building is so beautiful, inside and out, and it’s been amazing to see our new tenants loving the spaces.

I’ve really enjoyed helping people settle in, getting to know them, answering their questions and making sure they feel at home in the building. Watching it come to life has been a real highlight.

What skills or strengths do you bring to the team?

I’d say my people skills are my strongest asset. I like to think I make a good first impression on our event clients and tenants, and that they feel comfortable coming to me with questions or requests.

I also try to bring positive energy to the team. Even on hectic days, I do my best to stay cheerful and calm, because that helps everyone else feel a bit more at ease, too.

What is your favourite snack in the office?

This is a tough one, probably pretzels. They’re my go-to. That said, it’s always a very exciting moment in the office when there are extra cakes and pastries left over from an event. Those never last long.

What place is special to you and why?

Barcelona is definitely a special place for me. A few of my close childhood friends live there, and it’s always so lovely to visit and spend time with them.

It’s one of those cities where I feel both at home and on holiday at the same time, good food, great company and lots of happy memories.
