What came before your role at Menier Venues?

I bring over 20 years of experience in events and entertainment, managing everything from children’s birthday parties to celebrity weddings, intimate musical performances to large-scale concerts, and trade shows to world-class brand launches.

My background spans the motion picture and entertainment industries, with experience in films, commercials and event management. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on events for brands such as adidas, Audi, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Ferrari, Givenchy, Hennessy, Hermès, Levi’s, Maserati, Max Mara, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Mini Cooper, Nike, Range Rover, Swarovski, Versace and the Vienna Boys Choir.

My film and television credits include projects such as Geostorm, Ghost in the Shell, Into the Badlands, Lady Bloodfight, Man of Tai Chi, Swordsman, The Man with the Iron Fists, Thor: The Dark World and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

What does your role involve day to day?

My role involves making sure day-to-day logistics run smoothly and that our venues and services consistently meet high standards. I oversee the operational side of our events so clients feel confident from their first enquiry through to the final guest leaving.

I also train and support our team, helping everyone grow in their roles and maintain a consistently high level of service. Alongside that, I stay on top of the latest event trends and analyse our sales data to help us improve our performance and guest experience over time.

What do you think makes Menier Venues special?

Menier Venues is special because each venue has its own unique character, and our clients can really make the space their own. Whether it’s a meeting, a celebration or a brand event, the spaces adapt beautifully to different ideas and concepts.

Our team is just as special; we’re here to support every client from start to finish. That combination of flexible spaces and a hands-on, committed team makes a real difference.

What’s been a highlight for you so far?

A real highlight for me has been growing with the company and seeing how much we’ve achieved together. Watching the team develop, the venues evolve and our client base expand is something I’m really proud of.

It’s rewarding to look back at what we’ve built so far, and exciting to think about what’s still to come.

What skills or strengths do you bring to the team?

I’m self-motivated, hardworking and I genuinely thrive when things get busy. I’m comfortable juggling lots of different tasks, from communications and operations to marketing, sales and event planning.

I’m very detail-oriented and I enjoy solving problems, whether that’s behind the scenes or in the moment on an event day. My focus is always on making sure everything runs smoothly so clients and guests can simply enjoy the experience.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Easy: travel, sleep, films, theatre and eat. Basically, anything that combines fun and food! I love discovering new places, trying different cuisines and enjoying great storytelling, whether that’s on stage or on screen.

What place or venue is special to you and why?

Japan will always be my all-time favourite. The culture, the food, the design and the atmosphere all resonate with me. It’s a place I find endlessly inspiring and I always look forward to going back.
